This is Emil's. (A-mils not Eh-meels). When he was little, his mom made hooch during the prohibition. His job was putting the caps on the bottle.

He ran an entire army mess hall. He taught us to put strong black coffee in gravy because, well, he was just a baller like that.

We called him Papa. His legacy lives on.

Emil's is a self-pour taproom under construction now at the corner of 9th & Broad.
